I’m not much of a gamer, but I did spend a lot of time playing the original StarCraft and I will definitely get this one as soon as it comes out. I’ve been following the news on it for a few years and more recently watching YouTube clips of people playing the beta, and it looks like a very worthy sequel.

For those who don’t know, the original StarCraft is practically the national sport of South Korea; they still have televised tournaments even though it’s a decade old, and the top players get rock star treatment. I heard a rumor that for that reason the government there was seriously considering whether to call off school on the release date since so many kids would be skipping out to get this game.
