Apparently STC and Mobily have struck deals with Apple to carry the iPhone 4 in Saudi Arabia. The deals mean there won’t be carrier exclusivity in the country, and customers could be able to get their hands on Apple’s latest iPhone model in the second week of August, according to SaudiMac.
Apple launched the iPhone 4 on June 24 in a handful of countries, and the company plans to continue expanding into additional countries over the next few months.
The iPhone 4 includes a higher resolution multi-touch display compared to previous iPhone models. It also sports a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video support, a front-facing camera for FaceTime video chats, a built-in gyroscope, 802.11n wire;ess networking support, iOS 4, and more.
Pricing information for iPhone 4 service plans in Saudi Arabia hasn’t been announced yet.
