TRENDnet Releases 300MBps Dual Band Wireless N USB Adapter for Mac, Windows PCs

Torrance, California-based TRENDnet announced the release of its 300MBps Dual Band Wireless N USB adapter, model TEW-664UB for Mac and Windows-based PCs on Friday. The adapter can operate on either a 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio frequency and is compatible with older wireless 802.11b and 802.11g solutions as well as cordless phones, cellular phones and Bluetooth devices. 

The unit features an easy setup system which removes many of the complicated steps requires when installing a wireless routers or access point. An encryption system protects data and an advanced MIMO-based antenna assures the fastest communication speeds possible.

The adapter requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to install and run and retails for $59.99.
