British Prime Minister David Cameron is a fan of the iPad and currently uses it to read newspapers and listen to radio shows. Soon he will be able to use it to keep on top of what’s happening in his government and across his country with an app built especially for him.

According to The Telegraph, some of his advisers took a trip to the US and the idea generated from there. Mr. Cameron will soon be able to access information such as data from the National Health Services, statistics from law enforcement, and numbers of unemployed, among other things, from this specially-built app. He’ll be able to keep on top of government and other business all in one place.
The Cabinet Office has a team of programmers working on the app and it is expected to be ready by March. Don’t suppose it will be an iTunes pick of the week though.

“...by March.” Two months, presumably by March 1 or so. I guess that a short period of time for a team. Cameron’s use is also a huge endorsement for the Apple iPad. It’s about time that suits stopped automatically gravitating toward Windows stuff, but I know they would if an adequate Windows or Android tablet were available. That’s how much irrational inertia Apple has to combat to get its gear adopted.
I originally misread the title for this post as “UK Prime Minister Will Get His Very Own iPad”. I was thinking “And…?” Then, the face-palm.
But then it’ll have to downsize, and economise and….........
