Vogue Struts its Stuff on iPad

· by · Product News

Vogue is making its first appearance on Apple’s iPad with the launch of its Vogue Cover Exclusive. The app focuses on the fashion magazine’s cover models and includes extras that aren’t available in print.

Vogue Cover Exclusive includes interviews, photos from the cover shoot, videos, and more. The first issue focuses on pop singer Lady Gaga and offers a behind-the-scenes look at her concert tour.

Vogue’s iPad debut

There isn’t any word on whether or not readers will be able to subscribe to the digital magazine, or if each issue will be available only as a stand alone app. With Apple’s recent policy change requiring in-app subscription support if a subscription option is available outside of the app, Vogue publisher Conde Nast will have to address that point sooner instead of later.

Vogue Cover Exclusive is priced at US$0.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
