OmniGraffle 6 Improves Retina Design Tools, More

| Cool Stuff Found

The Omni Group has been hard at work on a new version of its vector-based diagraming application for the Mac, and that effort has paid off because OmniGraffle 6 is out and available. Version 6 added the ability to scale text along with shapes, nondestructive shape editing, a redesigned user interface, a new resource browser, resolution independent display support when designing charts or interfaces, the ability to export Graffles to Photoshop with layers, and more. OmniGraffle is priced at US$99.99 for the standard version, $199.99 for the professional version, and is available at the Omni Group website.

Any word on when OmniGraffle will be available in the App Stores? I know the OmniGroup has heartburn with no way to handle updates in those stores, but I bought OmniGraffle 5 in each App Store instead of getting the upgrade because I can feel free to use it on all Macs and iPads in my house without paying the ‘Family Plan” premium.
