Sanho is a company that made a splash in the Apple world a few years ago when they started selling HyperJuice portable power banks for Mac laptops. The company's latest endeavor has quite a story behind it: The Pearl Compact Mirror & Battery. It's what it sounds like, a battery charger and makeup compact mirror in one. This device is currently on Indiegogo because a spurious DMCA claim was sent to Kickstarter, who pulled the project down without any investigation or communication with the people behind the campaign. Soon after that suspension, the person who filed the DMCA takedown offered to remove it for a 50% share of the project. After no reply from Kickstarter, the project moved to Indiegogo where it has not only met its goal, but because it did so rapidly, the initial funding has been released which means there's a guarantee to get one before Christmas. As a woman who carries a mirror and a battery pack individually, I really love the idea of two in one so I can carry one less item.
