Apple removed The Hunt from the Apple TV app just days before its planned December 3 debut. You cannot find the show in the app right now, and Apple has not explained why it disappeared. The move surprised viewers because everything looked ready for release until this sudden change.
This decision also follows what happened with Savant, which Apple postponed weeks earlier. At that time, news reports linked the delay to the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. Now the same uncertainty surrounds The Hunt, yet Apple has stayed silent. Even Apple’s own press website has quietly scrubbed most references to the show.

What Happened to the Show?
While most listings are gone, a June 2024 press release announcing the French title A l’ombre des forets still exists. The show follows Franck and his friends during a hunting weekend that turns violent when another group starts targeting them. The plot moves fast, shots are fired, and the group scrambles to survive.
Most trailers on YouTube have either vanished or gone private, as noted by 9to5Mac during its coverage. Still, a few versions stay online through Apple TV’s Australian, Canadian, and Mexican YouTube channels. This uneven removal adds more confusion, especially since Apple has not confirmed whether the show will return or when it might air.
Right now, The Hunt sits in a strange limbo. Viewers wait for clarity, but Apple has offered none.
