Steve Wozniak reflects on Apple’s early days ahead of new book release

Steve Wozniak recently reflected on Apple’s early days in a new interview discussing the company’s origins. Wozniak co founded Apple with Steve Jobs nearly 50 years ago and played a key role in building the company’s first computers.

The comments appeared in a segment that aired on CBS Sunday Morning. During the interview, Wozniak spoke about how the idea for Apple began.

“Well, it kind of started when I was born,” Wozniak joked. “Steve Jobs wanted a company and he did it, and I was his resource.”

Wozniak said Apple did not begin with a plan to predict the future of technology. Instead, the focus was simple. The team wanted to build something better than what already existed.

“We didn’t foresee the future the way it turned out, but we said for today, we’re taking a step forward ahead of others.”

The interview appears alongside coverage of the new book Apple: The First 50 Years by David Pogue, which releases this week.
