Apple Still Selling Discontinued Mac Pro Through Refurbished Store

Mac Pro reportedly faces long pause with no major update planned

Apple is still selling the Mac Pro through its Certified Refurbished store, even after confirming that the desktop has been discontinued, which means buyers who still need this machine can pick one up while limited stock remains available.

Apple confirmed earlier this week that it has discontinued the Mac Pro, and soon after that announcement, the company removed the product from its main website and online store, signaling the end of its current lifecycle.

Refurbished Mac Pro units still available

Even so, Apple continues to list around 18 Mac Pro units on its Certified Refurbished store, covering both rack and desktop configurations, which gives professionals one last chance to buy the Intel-era design powered by Apple silicon upgrades.

Each purchase includes Apple’s standard one year limited warranty, along with free delivery and returns, and buyers can also add AppleCare+ or AppleCare One during checkout for extended coverage.

Apple has not shared clear plans for a successor, although many expect the Mac Studio to take over this segment, so these refurbished units now serve as the only remaining way to buy a Mac Pro directly from Apple.
