NASA’s Artemis II mission has delivered some of the most striking Earth and Moon images in decades, and many of these visuals are now available online for anyone to use as wallpapers. The mission launched on April 1, 2026, marking the first crewed journey around the Moon in over 50 years, and astronauts have already captured rare “Earthset” views and deep space imagery.
Some of these photos were even taken using an iPhone 17 Pro Max onboard the Orion spacecraft, which makes them feel more relatable and perfect for mobile wallpapers.

NASA has been publishing high-resolution images from the Artemis II mission on its official Flickr page, including shots of Earth from deep space and the Moon’s far side. These images come from both professional cameras and smartphones used by astronauts during the mission.
Once saved, you can set any image as your lock screen or home screen wallpaper from the Photos app. These wallpapers stand out because they show real views captured during a historic mission, not edited renders or stock space images.
