Apple Redesigns the Buying Experience for iPhone 12, iPad Air

The iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPad Air 4 will be available on Friday, and Apple has redesigned the purchasing experience offered online, by phone, and in Apple retail stores.

Buying an iPhone 12

In May Apple created a new hub for online shoppers that gives you links to various specialists, financing and credit options, order status, and more. Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People:

There’s never been a better time to get a new iPhone, and there’s never been a better destination than Apple Retail. We’re offering new ways for our customers to get to know all of our products before they buy, so they can be sure to get the product that’s right for them.

Whether our customers choose to connect with us in person, by phone, or online, our entire retail team is ready to deliver the world-class personalized service they’ve come to expect from Apple.

Apple Retail Updates

Contactless delivery is available for all products, ensuring that people stay safe during the pandemic. Delivery drivers may ask for verbal confirmation from a safe distancing instead of requiring a physical signature.

Apple customers can using Shopping Sessions to book a one-on-one session with an Apple Specialist for personalized help to pick out a product, carrier plan, or financing option. And this same experience can be found in an online chat with a Specialist.

Apple has also expanded the pickup options available to include in-store, curbside, same-day delivery, and Express storefront. Visit apple.com/retail to find available services at your local store.
