Apple Hot Deals Update: Apple Refurbs, RAM, Upgrades, Books, More

A pple has updated the Hot Deals page for Ramjet, ClubMac, OWC, OiReilly, and the Apple Store itself at the Macintosh Product Guide. The Mac Product Guide is a list of Mac compatible hardware and software products on the market. The Hot Deals section of the Product Guide features several Mac retailers and special offers that one can only get, at least in theory, at the Hot Deals page.

First up is the Apple Storeis Hot Deals page. Apple has added a boat load of refurb units to the Apple Store, but we noted something new on the "Special Deals" page, too; the company is now listing older models that are listed with the note, "These products are new and unopened units." This includes not only iBooks, eMacs and other Apple products, but also some third party iPod accessories. In addition, all of the refurb products are even more clearly labeled. You can find the Apple Store Hot Deals page at Appleis Web site.

Apple has also added a new retailer to the Hot Deals program, Ramjet. Ramjet (also a long-time TMO advertiser) is kicking off its Hot Deals page with offers on RAM for G5s, the eMac, the iMac, PowerBooks, etc. There are also offers on external storage and USB pen drives. You can find the Ramjet Hot Deals page at Appleis Web site.

The ClubMac Hot Deals page was also updated, and it has offers on games, external storage, a Webcam package, displays, a joystick, other software, iPod accessories, a printer, and a digital camera. You can find the ClubMac Hot Deals page at Appleis Web site.

The new OWC Hot Deals page has offers on external storage, a G4 upgrade for the Pismo, several RAM modules, a mouse, some desktop upgrade cards, a UPS device, PowerBook replacement batteries, and more. You can find the OWC Hot Deals page at Appleis Web site.

The new OiReilly Hot Deals page has offers on three books from the Missing Manual series, a Jaguar book, and two programming books. You can find the OiReilly Hot Deals page at Appleis Web site.
