Apple has introduced a new educational promotional offer called "More Back to School In Style." The offer is for US$50 off of a qualifying iBook purchase for educational customers. The new promo is the son of the "Back to School in Style" promo that offers US$150 off of a new PowerBook to educational customers that was introduced last month.
As of this writing, there are no details for the iBook promo at Appleis Web site, but the educational Apple Store says that the US$50 discount will be taken off the education price at checkout, in addition to the standard education discount. To get the deal, click on the "More Back to School in Style" link on Appleis Hot Deals page.
Apple has also updated the MacConnecton Hot Deals page, and the MacWarehouse Hot Deals page at the Macintosh Product Guide. The Mac Product Guide is a list of Mac compatible hardware and software products on the market. The Hot Deals section of the Product guide feature several Mac retailers, including some new audio-oriented retailers, and special offers that one can only get, at least in theory, at the Hot Deals page.
The new MacConnection page has bundle deals on the eMac, PowerMac, and the iMac, as well as a couple of software deals. The MacWarehouse Hot Deals page is offering iPod accessories, speakers, a CD-burning bundle, and several other peripheral deals.
