There are lots of great articles, and some really bad ones, on the Internet. Though we link to all of them at MacOS News Around The Web, some of them deserve special mention here. Most of what we will mention within these pages will be among the best, but on occasion we will talk about articles that are so bad or so wrong we just have to say something. Consider them mini-editorials on our part about things we think you might also be interested in.

Best [1:00 PM] The Daily iMac - Affordable New Clik! MP3 Player To Have Mac Support
This piece did not make the best so much because of the wonderful writing, although the writing is fine, but rather the "Cool Factor" for the product that it talks about. Portable MP3 players are all the rage, but finding reliable ones with enough storage for all your favorite songs, one that wonit break your bank account, has been difficult. Enter Iomegais Clik! storage technology. Having been around for years with little or no purpose, using US$10 Clik! disk, holding 40MB each, makes a lot of sense for MP3 players. Our favorite quote from this piece:

Using Clik! disks is cool enough, but Sensory Science means business with their MP3 player: the rave:mp 2300 has five built-in equalizer modes (normal, jazz, rock, classical, pop) and six play modes (normal, repeat, repeat all, shuffle, AB repeat). The unit has a rechargable battery and instead of eating up your double Ais, it will give you 12 hours of continous play on a single charge.

Best [1:00 PM] Arkansas Online - Militant Mac enthusiasts enjoy renaissance
I have never enjoyed being called "militant" so much... This article takes a look at the current state of the Mac, and more entertainingly Mac users, from an outsideris perspective. Complete with a quick history lesson and some insightful commentary on the current state of the Mac, this is a very well written and delightful to read article. Our favorite quote from this piece:

These Moonies of the computer world are experiencing a renaissance of sorts as a rainbow of consumer iMacs flood the market like gum balls dropped on a gym floor, and a powerful generation of Macs built for the business world tweaks the Windows-Intel world with classy looks and power.
