ChronoSync Updated With Improved Collection Code

Econ Technologies has released an update for ChronoSync, bringing it to version 2.0.7. ChronoSync is a back-up file and folder syncing utility designed for connecting several devices to a network. The update features improved performance and bug fixes. According to Econ Technologies:

Econ Technologies updates ChronoSync, the automated synchronization and backup application for Mac? OS X, to version 2.0.7.

ChronoSync runs on Mac OS X but can synchronize data between any volumes that you mount on your Mac. This new version, 2.0.7, handles many specialized files reducing errors that may occur with some syncs, including improved handling of long filenames (100+ characters), locked file packages, and symbolic links. If an error is encountered a new "Retry" button lets the user attempt the sync again.

ChronoSync 2.0.7 features a newly tuned collection code for better performance and the ability to identify package files when using inclusion or exclusion rules. Also, bugs were fixed relating to package files, Applescripts, rules, and opening sync documents.

You can find more information about the ChronoSync update at the Econ Technologies Web site. The ChronoSync update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$30.00.
