ConceptDraw V Adds MS Visio Support, More

Computer Systems Odessa on Monday released version 5.5 of its diagramming tool ConceptDraw V, adding support for exporting files to XML format for use with Microsoft Visio. The company also included support for alpha-channel transparency for any diagram item, which can now have its own color palette.

The developer also enabled the ability to print the current ConceptDraw document page, enlarged the softwareis units of measurement, improved the ConceptDrawBasic editor, expanded the task-specific libraries of shapes and made performance improvements.

Upgrades from previous versions of ConceptDraw are US$79 for the Standard version and $99 for the Processional version, which includes such features as working with mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams, importing and exporting more file types, and more. The full versions of each are $149 and $299, respectively.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.1.5 (v10.2.5 recommended), a G3 processor, 128MB RAM (256MB recommended) and 200MB free hard drive space.
