Controversy Good For Apple's Ratings

Cont roversy is good for ratings, and as Appleis stock situation and future remain at the forefront of popular media, traffic to the Apple web site continues to stay hight. Apple held the second spot in the PC Data Top 10 ratings for the third consecutive week, drawing well over 1 million unique visitors. At the top of the list is the long time leader, Compaq. The other main hardware manufacturers made the Top 10, including Dell, HP, Gateway, IBM, and Intel. Reseller powerhouses Egghead and Outpost also made the Top 10. New this week is Camarades.com, a site calling itself a "Web Cam Community."
