Cut And Paste Organizer Update From Apimac

Apimac has released an update for Apimac Note Pad, bringing it to version 1.4. Apimac Note Pad is a cut and paste organizer designed for the management of multiple text pieces. The latest version features font display improvements and other enhancements. According to Apimac:

Apimac released today Apimac Note Pad 1.4, the latest version of its shareware application for both Mac OS X and Mac OS Classic.

Apimac Note Pad 1.4 is an application that lets you save and organize any piece of text you may want to be at hand: you can paste it in, drag it from other applications, drop it as a text file from the Finder or, of course, write it yourself.

New in this release:

  • an option in the Preferences windows by which the fonts listed on the Font menu can be displayed in their actual typefaces
  • an optional Version Checking system for automatic update alerts (again in the Preferences window)
  • a View menu to toggle on/off the Toolbar (also, on Mac OS X, this can be accomplished via the Toolbar button), a Window menu (Mac OS X only)
  • a Save Now command on the File menu (so a note can be now saved at the user request, along with the automatic save still provided)

Plus, the Import command now supports RTF, imported notes can be assigned to a pre-existent category, and clippings texts can be imported via the Import command or by drag and drop. Also, the process to select notes in a category-basis is easier than before, as you only need to select a category in the Show pop-up button.

You can find more information about the Apimac Note Pad update at the Apimac Web site. Apimac Note Pad 1.4 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$19.99.
