Deep Sky Technologies, Inc. has released a new beta version of Athenaeums, bringing it to version 1.0.0b5. Athenaeums is a utility designed for archiving EIMS documents. The latest beta release addresses several bug issues. According to Deep Sky Technologies:
Deep Sky Technologies, Inc., today announced the release of Athenaeums v1.0.0b05 for MacOS 9 and MacOS X. Athenaeums is an EIMS filter for archiving of standard EIMS documents, specifically the EIMS error log. This first fully public beta release of Athenaeums is open to all owners of EIMS and EIMS X and is available for use through the month of September, 2003.
This new public beta corrects a couple of bugs from the previous beta release. Specifically, the support for full directory paths for the archive location has been improved, as well as support for aliases at any point in the directory path specified for archiving. Left over code for checking the system temp directory has also been removed as it was not needed in the released Athenaeums filter.
