KavaSoft has released an update for iConquer, bringing it to version 2.3. iConquer is a game designed for global domination via invasion and general warfare. The update ships with expanded maps and a new UI. According to KavaSoft:
KavaSoft has announced iConquer 2.3, a new version of the popular game of world conquest for Mac OS X.
iConquer allows up to 6 players to play against each other over the Internet. iConquer 2 features a completely new network architecture for dramatically enhanced speed and stability. iConquer can also be played against your computer, using complex artificial intelligence algorithms to simulate ferocious adversaries like Stalin or Napoleon.
iConquer 2.3 features a new interface for downloading map plug-ins. There are now twenty maps available, including a new Excel map that disguises the game as a spreadsheet when the boss is looking!
iConquer 2.3 also features a new Continents window that displays how many bonus armies each continent is worth, and which countries are owned by which players.
You can find more information about the iConquer update at the KavaSoft Web site. iConquer is available for US$12.99.
