Drag Thing Updated With Virex Bug Fix

TLA Systems has released a maintenance update for DragThing, bringing it to version 5.1.1. DragThing is a dock utility designed for dock extension management. The update fixes a Virex bug issue and enhances the contextual menus. According to TLA Systems:

TLA Systems is pleased to announce the immediate availability of DragThing 5.1.1, the thirty-second release of their popular dock application for Mac OS.

This release works round a reported problem with the recent McAfee Virex 7.5 beta which could cause DragThing not to quit properly on shutdown, restart or logout.

It also adds new features including enhanced contextual menus and AppleScript support, greatly improves saving and loading of docks and other files, and is a lot faster to start up than 5.1.

You can find more information about the DragThing update at the TLA Systems Web site. DragThing 5.1.1 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$25.00.
