Screentime Media on Wednesday released version 1.2 of mProjector, its utility for converting Macromedia Flash MX files into software applications. This upgrade, which is free for existing users, adds support for Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" and scroll wheel mice and also enables the creation of full-screen applications. In addition, mProjector applications can now "roll up" to a small size and expand when a button is clicked.
Screentime Media also announced that its Red Rubber Ball application, a desktop toy that shows what mProjector can do, also now works in Mac OS X. Itis a free download from the companyis Web site, and the source code comes with the purchase of mProjector, which is US$199. The Mac and Windows versions only create applications for use on those computers; a cross-platform version of mProjector is available for $298.
