Elgato Systems announced the immediate availability of a Mac-compatible version of the HDHomeRun networked digital TV tuner on Tuesday. The tuner uses Elgatois EyeTV software to allow Macs on a local network to show free SD and HDTV programming.

The HDHomeRun supports over-the-air digital TV, and unencrypted (Clear QAM) digital cable channels. It includes EyeTV 2 software for two Macs, cables, and an AC power adapter.
The HDHomeRun for the Mac is priced at US$199.95, and is available at the Elgato Web site.
