Keyspan on Monday introduced a new RF (radio frequency) remote control for Front Row. It works through walls and furniture, eliminating the line-of-sight requirement inherent in infrared remotes, such as the one that ships with the iMac.
The RF Remote for Front Row has a 60-foot range and features nine buttons for controlling music and video playback, as well as picture viewing, through Front Row. In addition, it can eject optical discs and put a Mac to sleep as well as wake it up. Pricing is US$39 and Mac OS X v10.4 is required.
