Koingo Software updated Mac Pilot to version 2.2.9 on Tuesday. The new version can now create Windows and Macintosh sharepoints.
Mac Pilot is a GUI-based alternative to command line changes to various system settings, and it can perform some routine maintenance operations in Mac OS X. Options include the ability to optimize the broadband connectivity, customize Apple File Sharing, change the file format of screenshots, alter the startup chime, and increase the speed of windows resizing.
Settings can be changed for the Finder, Dock, Safari, Apple Mail, disk operations, the login window, the system, the network, and Sharing.
Mac Pilot 2.2.9 is a Universal Application and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later. It has a 15 day free trial and is priced at US$19.95.
