NewerTech announced the immediate availability of its MAXPower G4/7448 processor upgrade for the Power Mac G4 on Wednesday. The upgrade is available in single and dual processor configurations with a 1MB L2 cache for the Power Mac G4 AGP Graphics/Sawtooth, Gigabit Ethernet, Digital/Audio, or Quicksilver models running Mac OS 9.2.2, or Mac OS X 10.3.5 or higher.
