Oklahoma City Universityis Wanda L. Bass School of Music is now an Apple Digital Campus, according to a report at The Oklahoman. Students and faculty will use PowerBooks, iPods and iSights as part of a pilot program that was funded with a US$1 million donation by OCU benefactor Wanda Bass.
OCU President Tom McDaniel told reporter Jim Stafford: "We want to create a community here where we foster creativity." Mr. McDaniel also said that the program will expand in a "piecemeal" fashion after the pilot effort is completed.
