iProof Systems announced on Monday that it has added support for the Epson Stylus Photo R1800 printer to PowerRIP 7, the software-based PostScript RIP for inkjet printers. The driver gives control over the R1800is red and blue inks, gloss overcoat, Epsonis screening and RGB-ICC profiles, and makes it easier to add custom profiles. PowerRIP 7 is priced at US$199 for the single printer version, or $399 for the full version that supports over 100 different printers.
