The Secret Diaries: The Lord Of The Rings' Secrets Revealed

W eive watched Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings and The Two Towers. Weive seen the characters go through trials and tribulations that seem impossible to endure, yet they do. Now we have to wait for the final chapter, the movie that completes the saga: Return of the King.

Through it all, have you ever wondered what is really going on in the minds of Frodo and Samwise, or Gollum, or Aragorn? What secrets do these fascinating characters keep locked up inside? What passions and desires beyond the Quest for the Ring do they harbor?

Weive asked these questions too, but now weive found the answers in The Secret Diaries of Cassandra Claire. The Secret Diaries chronicle the thoughts and desires of our favorite LOTR characters. Take this excerpt from Legolasis diary:

Day Eleven:

In Lothlorien. Suspect Galadriel may be prettier than me.

Also, am quite sure she copied my hairstyle. I was wearing that same look at least 1,000 years ago. Silly bint. She was most annoyed that I used her mirrored fountain to take a nice bubble bath.

I choose to ignore her claim that my hair clogged her drain. Not one strand of my hair has fallen out in 800 years, why would it start now?

Still prettiest by far.

Or this bit from Frodois diary:

Day 27 :

Lothlorien so pretty. Galadriel pretty too. Offered her One Ring, but she kept saying, "No, thereis something else Iid rather have from you, Frodo Baggins," and trying to slide foot up inside my breeches. So, gave her my extra pair of breeches since she seemed fond of them. Maybe some kind of breeches shortage in Lothlorien.

The Secret Diaries add a whole new dimension to the LOTR characters so, if you have some time to waste, leaf through the Secret Diaries.
