Trans International announced the immediate availability of the Pro Drive Mac Pro internal hard drive enclosure on Tuesday. The enclosure is a dual drive RAID sled that holds up to two 2.5-inch SATA hard drives.

Each enclosure can hold two 7200 RPM drives, allowing for up to eight drives in Appleis Mac Pro computer. Sleds can be configured for RAID 1 or RAID 0 via a dip switch, and can achieve over 400MB/sec data transfers.
The Pro Drive enclosure is available at the Trans International Web site, and is priced starting at US$169 without any hard drives installed.
