WebEx For OS X Now Shipping

WebEx Communications, Inc. has announced OS X support for the WebEx. WebEx is a utility designed for connecting to the WebEx MediaTone Network for cross platform Web conferencing. The app features support for data, voice, and video communications via the MediaTone Network. According to WebEx Communications:

WebEx allows Mac users to move from iChat AV sessions into secure, multi-platform Web meetings. A pioneer in the Web conferencing services industry, WebEx was the first company to provide cross platform data, voice and video Web conferencing services for Windows, Macintosh, Solaris and Linux.

All of WebExis services are delivered via the WebEx MediaTone Network, a global network specifically designed for high-speed Web communications. The WebEx network supports live data, voice and video communications and allows users to hold highly interactive meetings through a standard browser.

WebEx has worked closely with Apple to provide corporate customers with seamless access to the advance communications capabilities of the WebEx MediaTone Network.
