Adobe on Thursday issued Contribute 4, an update to its Web publishing solution that features blog publishing capabilities, unified Web publishing, Adobe Flash video support, and more. Unified Web publishing enables users to post and publish content to multiple Web sites and blogs, with the ability to easily edit content or work offline without losing changes due to a bad connection or browser mistake.
Contribute 4 supports Blogger, Typepad, and Wordpress blog servers, with the ability to connect to in-house blog servers upon setup. Users can also now drag and drop Flash video files directly to Web pages or blogs.
This update is US$79 as an upgrade or $149 for the full version. Mac OS X v10.3.9, a 350MHz G3 processor, 256MB RAM, and 300MB available hard drive space are required. Adobe did not say when a Universal Binary patch will be issued.
