Mr. Munster and his team spent eight hours monitoring Apple Store traffic the day after Thanksgiving to gauge product sales. The noted about 544 people per hour passed through the doors, and that the company sold 14.8 iPads, along with 10.1 Macs per hour.

The Piper Jaffray team has been monitoring Black Friday sales at Apple stores since 2008, which also happens to be the year where they tracked the highest number of Mac sales per hour at 13.
