Apple TV gained yet another new channel this week with the addition of CNNgo. The new channel taps into the CNNgo service to let viewers watch live news and previously recorded shows, but requires a cable TV subscription to watch most of the content.

CNNgo's appearance on Apple TV follows TED, Tastemade, and Young Hollywood, all of which are available without a cable television subscription.
HBO's own HBO Now channel, which brings the network's shows to viewers without a cable or satellite subscription, still hasn't arrived. HBO said it would be available for the April launch of the new season of "Game of Thrones."
