A reminder that Apple Watch goes on sale for preorder at 12:01 AM PDT on Friday morning—or tonight, depending on how you think about your days. Apple announced Thursday that Apple Watch sales will be limited to its online store at launch because the company expects demand to outpace supply.
The device will be viewable in Apple Stores starting Friday. If you want to look at them first, and try them on before buying, you can do so later that day, but our expectation is that initial supply will go in the first hours of preorders.
Accordingly, preorder tonight if you want one on April 24th, when they ship. If you don't like it when you get it return it. Apple should have begun preorders a week after we could see them and try them on, but the company didn't, so make the best out of the system Apple has put into place.
