Mac, iPhone and iPad sales figures are expected to be high for the quarter. Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster is modeling over 4 million Macs sold for the quarter, and he thinks the recently refreshed MacBook Air line will be a driving force behind increased Mac sales.

Goldman Sachs and Gabelli & Co. both started covering Apple in December, indicating even more investors are interested in Apple’s performance. The Mac Observer will offer our usual earnings report coverage and analysis on the 18th.

Apple is currently trading at US$322.30, down 1.30 (-0.40%).
