Appleis iLife i08 suite includes a new version of iMovie that isnit compatible with G4 Macs, but that doesnit mean users with older machines are left in the lurch. Apple is now offering iMovie HD 6, the version of iMovie that was bundled with iLife i06, as a free download for iLife i08 owners.
Offering the free download means that G4 Mac owners can still make movies after upgrading to the new iLife suite, and it also means that iLife i08 owners that arenit happy with the redesigned iMovie have something to fall back on. The iMovie HD 6 installer is available for download at the Apple Web site.
