Eric Hangstefer has released an update for Microscope, bringing it to version 1.1. Microscope is a QX3/QX3+ microscope plug-in designed for capturing enlarged images directly to a Mac. The latest version features jpeg and tiff converting and QuickTime movie support. According to Eric Hangstefer:
Microscope 1.1 is a Mac OS X freeware application written specifically for the Intel Play and Digital Blue QX3/QX3+ USB Computer Microscope.
Microscope 1.1 allows you to capture images as jpeg or tiff, create time-lapse QuickTime movies, and add a text comment and/or time stamp to the image or movie.
Version 1.1 adds a .5 sec and a user-defined option to the time-lapse movie slider, and an option to turn the QX3is lamp off between frame captures.
