Jobs, Schmidt Seen Talking Business in Public

Word on the street is that Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Google CEO Eric Schmidt aren’t getting along, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way the two were acting when they were spotted together on Friday. The two CEOs were seen together outside a Palo Alto coffee shop having a conversation that apparently involved lots of talking on Mr. Jobs’s part and lots of listening on Mr. Schmidt’s part, according to Gizmodo.

Apparently Mr. Jobs was overheard saying “They’re going to see it all eventually so who cares how they get it,” in regards to Web-based content. Shortly after, he said “Let’s go discuss this somewhere more private,” as a crowd began to gather around the them.

Mr. Jobs and Mr. Schmidt have been rumored to be on bad terms over iPhone and Android competition. Despite the potential bad blood, however, it looks like both see the importance of working together and took at least a little time today to work towards common business goals.
