Computing accessory provider Manhattan Portage debuted four new laptop bags on Thursday, the DJ Deluxe, the Laptop Tote, the Ballistic Briefcase and the Wallstreeter. Starting off, the DJ Deluxe arrived with a built-in padded laptop sleeve, a posterior convertible zipper section for print materials and accessories and a shoulder pad on its strap. The bag also contains multiple pockets as well as key ring loops, double reinforced corners and a water resistant coating. The bag retails for US$80.
The Laptop Tote is a slim nylon bag capable of storing a MacBook or 15-inch MacBook Pro notebook, and includes a total of four pockets and a mesh bottle holder. The bag features an interior padded laptop sleeve and shoulder pad on the strap and arrives with a key ring attached to the exterior. The bag retails for $100.
For higher end notebook users, the Ballistic Briefcase is made from CORDURA plus nylon and can hold up to a 17-inch laptop in its padded laptop sleeve. The bag features two exterior zippered compartments and large exterior Velcro compartments and can also be expanded to 150% its original size. The Ballistic Briefcase also includes a posterior loop for connection to rolling luggage.
The Wallstreeter, another bag made from CORDURA plus nylon, is capable of holding a 17-inch laptop and features a water resistant coating as well as an easy-connect strap for rolling luggage hook-up. Other features include two zippered compartments, dual buckle closure, and multiple pockets and key ring loops below the flap.
