Marathon Computer is now shipping the R-Console rackmount system. The R-Console is an integrated system designed for rackmounting flat-panel displays and other peripherals. The mount is 2U in size and fits in 19" equipment racks. According to Marathon Computers:
Marathon Computer has introduced a convenient, integrated system for rackmounting a flat-panel display, keyboard and touchpad together in a single slide-mounted console.
The R-Console lets users turn an existing flat-panel display into a slide-rail-mounted command center for the equipment rack.
The R-Console includes a completely Mac-compatible Marathon USB R-Keyboard, with its built-in TouchPad, pre-installed in a rigid aircraft-grade aluminum chassis and smooth-action ball-bearing slides. Two spring-mounted thumbscrews lock the drawer inside the rack when not in use.
