SecureDoc Now Provides High-Security Encryption for Mac Users

WinMagic announced the release of SecureDoc for Mac, data encryption software that now provides centrally managed security across both Mac and Windows platforms. The inclusion of Mac platform support in SecureDoc enables data security professionals to manage encryption for Mac desktops and laptops using the same software console used to manage Windows machines.

According to the company, this centralized approach ensures access to data when dealing with lost passwords, employee turnover or other associated issues. SecureDoc features an 'always-on' security ability that allows organizations to protect all data on all servers, desktops, laptops and removable media.

System Requirements for SecureDoc for Mac are an Intel Processor (64-bit EFI pre-boot environment), Mac OS X v10.4.2 or higher, and 25MB free disk space. SecureDoc for Mac is available immediately and can be purchased for US$155.00 per unit for 1-50 users and US$124.00 per unit for 50-99 users.
