SmileOnMyMac released an updated version of TextExpander that adds an iPad-native interface to the text abbreviation auto-expander app on Tuesday.
TextExpander lets users type pre-defined abbreviations, or snippets, into complete words and phrases. It can synchronize snippet groups with your Mac or other TextExpander users on a local network. Snippet expanding works in the TextExpander app, and in other iOS apps that include TextExpander support such as Tweetie, Twittelator Pro, and WriteRoom.
TextExpander for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is priced at US$4.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
