Usenet Download Utility Update From Eridanus

Eridanus has released an update for Baker, bringing it to version 1.2. Baker is a Usenet download utility designed to simplify downloading files from Usenet newsgroups. The update fixes a queued article bug. According to Eridanus:

Eridanus today released Baker 1.2.0 Baker is an OS X program used to simplify the task of downloading files from Usenet newsgroups. Baker eliminates the hassle by automating much of the process.

This release fixes a bug that caused queued articles to be ignored by the Skip button. This problem has been fixed and the Skip button will now skip articles even if they are queued.

Baker documents remember all the articles you have selected in all the newsgroups and on all the news servers you access. This lets you build queues for as many newsgroups as you like without having to worry about losing all your hard work because of something that disrupts your downloading activities. After you download the newsgroup overview, simply use the Queue Articles window to select the files you want to download. Then, the next time you click the Start button, Baker will automatically begin downloading the files.

You can find more information about the Baker update at the Eridanus Web site. Baker 1.2 is available for US$35.00.
