20:16 MoonWalker Shoes on Indiegogo Use Magnets to Feel Light on Your Feet

I have a 20-year running joke with a friend of mine about Art Bell, the former host of paranormal radio show Coast to Coast AM. I should say it's my friend's running joke, because he did this great impression of Art Bell talking about the benefits of wearing magnets in his shoes. It was a made up bit that was hilarious to me, but here we are in 2016, and though Art Bell has retired from his show, there is an Indiegogo project for shoes with magnets in them. Called 20:16 MoonWalker, these shoes have two beds of magnets embedded in them that are supposed to make you feel light on your feet. It's raised more than US$111,00 out of a goal of just $20,000. The video below has high production value with awful pacing and a terrible voice over, but if you can stick it out to the 2:00 mark, you'll get to the pertinent info. Funding options that get you a pair start at $69, but the entry-level options are filling fast.
