IK Multimedia released AmpliTube 3 for iPhone and iPad this week. The new version includes new effects and amp models aimed at iRig HD, which was also just shipped. The update includes new DAW features via in-app purchase ($14.99), including the ability to record up to eight tracks. A feature called AutoFreeze allows you to have a full effects chain on each track. The update is free for owners of earlier versions and $19.99 for new customers. As noted above, some of the new features are in-app purchases.
