Cue takes Portable Health Tracking Beyond Wearable Tech

If you're ready to go beyond tracking your fitness activities with your iPhone, Cue is developing a pocket-size device that analyzes your own saliva or blood samples to give you a deeper look into your personal health. The Cue uses disposable cartridges to track inflammation, vitamin D levels, fertility, testosterone levels, and influenza risk, and then transmits the data via Bluetooth to your iPhone. The companion app tracks your test results and offers suggestions on ways to improve your overall health. The device is available for pre-order now for US$149, and early buyers will be asked to participate in a usability study for FDA approval. When Cue officially goes on sale next year it'll be priced at $299.
