NASA's Apollo Mission Photos Free on Flickr

People take photos when they go on really cool trips, and that's true for the astronauts NASA sent to Earth's moon. Instead of keeping all those photos tucked away in a dark closet, NASA decided to share them with the world. All of the photo rolls—they used film back then to take pictures—are available in high resolution on Flickr for your viewing pleasure. Bonus: Our tax dollars paid for everything that went into making those photos possible, so they're free to use as wallpapers, lock screens, or whatever else you can think of.
