Smart Letters and Numbers: Wood Blocks, an iPad, and Great Cause-and-Effect Lessons for Kids

LAS VEGAS - Luuuuurrrrrrve at first sight, I tell you! Smart Letters and Smart Numbers from Marbotic—another French company crushing CES—are two of the best educational toys for iPad I've ever seen. Smart Letters are wooden blocks in the shape of and painted to represent numerals and letters (capital letters). On the bottom are sensors that allow a child as young as two and a half to press down on the screen and stamp that letter or number on the iPad app. Watch the video I posted to Instagram below and you'll get it. It harnesses the power of cause-and-effect as a learning tool better than anything I've ever seen on iPad, and thats saying something. Speaking of apps, there are different Marbotic apps for math and letters, and they're all just awesome. We'll be doing a full review after the show, but I wanted to show this to you now.
